The 25th International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino!

We have decided to award Platinum Goats, the special prize of the 25th International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino!, to Se-ma-for film studio, for their overall output in the field of animated films for children and especially for the creation of the greatest Polish film teddy bear, Teddy Drop-Ear.

Teddy Drop-Ear is one of the most important icons of Polish art for children. Just like any other child, Teddy has to face problems and challenges which seem huge from a child’s perspective. He copes with them, because, though small, he is brave and sensible. Teddy Drop-Ear always thinks positively and knows how to cooperate with a team of friends. His screen image is full of warmth and friendliness. The world of the little hero is based on nobleness and sincerity, but devoid of noise, aggression and violence. Teddy’s world might differ from the real contemporary world but it remains important as a model for children, who will be shaping the future world - the world developing so fast that the little Teddy’s 50th birthday turns into a symbol of stability and safety which we all, not only children, need so much…

Happy birthday to Teddy, and many film successes to Se-ma-for on the eve of its 60th anniversary!
